What is Energywork?
energy2_edited.jpg

There are a vast array of modalities both ancient and new, that involve working with & manipulating non physical matter and/or the unseen realms.

Reiki and acupuncture are the most commonly known energywork modalities in the West.

Energywork is a widely used general term to cover an expansive and nuanced topic.  A moderately new concept for the Western world. Which is why we still lack the language to explain it in common terms. The western cultures simply don't have frameworks for logically understanding concepts of healing that are outside of the western medical model, and therefore tend to place them under the label of "woo" or "magic". Thankfully science has begun to explore the realms of energy and the non physical matter all around us, and is giving language and "proof" to concepts, modalities, and wisdom that cultures in other parts of the world already have deeply ingrained in their understanding of life. This proof is what many of our logical minds need, and that's okay. Thankfully science is now catching up to the shamans and mystics of the ages ;)

Eastern cultures have always sought to first address the energetic - electric - life force energy within and around the body to create healing and balance within the mind body & spirit.

The energywork my practice is heavily informed by is Transformative Energywork as developed &  taught by Kenneth Jover. Which is a culmination of different traditions, modalities, and sacred wisdom he was able to expertly weave together in order to create a system that is exactly what it's called. Transformative. The work is done on an energetic and subconscious level combined. He has created incredible frameworks for practitioners to explore and cultivate their own techniques of engaging with the unseen in ways that are unique, adaptive, and relational. Any limits to this system are solely based on one's ability and willingness to engage with  intention and dedication.
